HOTEL CHAMBORD, Brussels – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had some positives like lovely and spacious rooms but also some downsides like low temperature and high humidity due to poor windows. The service was mainly pleasant and helpful, with a hiccup from one receptionist. The location was excellent, close to key areas of interest in Brussels. The dining experience was described as excellent with abundant options. Overall, a mix of good and not-so-good aspects.

The hotel location is very central within walking distance to the old town, shopping streets, city centre, and EU institutions. The rooms, though small and smelling terrible due to overpowering bad odors from drains, were manageable with some assistance required to adjust the heater. The service was friendly and accommodating, with a promise of reimbursement for an inconvenience. The dining experience was abundant and had good taste but started late on weekends. Despite needing renovation, the hotel is in the center of Brussels near public transport stops, making it convenient for a short stay.
