unfriendly staffstained bedding

My stay wasn't great. the staff weren't friendly, not even acknowledging guests at breakfast or when passing reception. the room felt old. There were some stains on the walls (they looked like old blood!), and the bedding needed a good clean. I recommend the stairs if you can manage it.
